Don’t let the name fool you! We cater to all of Dublin and surrounding areas. We will typically cover all of Leinster, however depending on availability, you may need to check this out with us as it can be harder for us to fit you in!

Which chargers do you do?

We tend to stick to Ohme and Zappi chargers as things stand. In all my years of doing these EV charger installs and after installing 100’s of them, I’ve found both these options to be far more reliable than anything else on the market, all while still offering some pretty sweet features on them!

How much does an EV charger installation cost?

How long is a piece of string?! There’s too many factors that can affect the cost of your EV charger installation. Such as type of charger, length of cable run, any grounds works required, any remedial or upgrade works required.

Again, best thing you can do is get in touch for a quote. That way, you at least have an accurate assessment of what needs to be done, it hasn’t cost you anything and it will still be your decision at the end of the day.

When can you’s install my home EV charger?

So obviously this can change, so you’ll need to get in touch, but we are in pretty high demand and do generally have a pipeline that brings us out 3-4 weeks.

We always recommend getting the charger sorted in time for the car to arrive, however we do get people who are stuck and need one in a hurry. Best thing these people can do is get in touch and we can see if there’s a gap in the diary or if we’ll be in your area.

How long will my EV charger install take?

Standard EV charger installs should only take us a couple hours to half a day. If there's more work to be done or if it’s a particulary long, tricky run then we may need a day or even a few days in some cases.

I have no driveway to park my car, can I get an EV charger installed?

Yes you can! You might need to check if it’s something you need planning permission for, but we’ve done many installs where this is the case! And on top of that, we’ve got the best, most innovative and safest options for both yourself and anyone passing by!

Can I claim the €300 SEAI home charger grant with you guys?

Absolutely! As a registered electrical contractor through SEAI, we are able to give you the paperwork you will need to get your home charger installed. And the good news is we help you get applied when you book us in, and sort all of that out on the day so by the time I’m chasing you for money you have everything you need! ;)

How do I know if it’s safe to install an EV charger in my home?

Look, in all honesty, the best thing you can do is get a trusted, qualified and competent electrician to check the house out. We need to pay particular attention to the condition of the fuseboard, size of your meter tails, whether or not you have an earth rod and some of the other earthing arrangements of the house - before we can put in the EV car charger. This isn’t necessarily stuff the average Joe is going to be able to identify himself - although houses built from around 1994/95 onward don’t tend to have too many problems (DON’T HOLD ME TO THAT!)

How long will it take to charge my electric vehicle?

Using your very own EV home charger that we will install, you can expect somewhere between 3-4 hours for a plug-in hybrid and 8-10 hours for a fully electric.
